| Assumption Eighth Graders organized the "Change for Change" fundraiser and held a car wash with the Seventh Graders in Grimes to raise money for our sister parish in El Salvador. The $540 raised will sponsor 1.5 students to go to school for a year. |

| The Assumption 7&8 Graders visited Joppa Outreach in Des Moines, after doing a supply drive, to learn more about people experiencing homelessness and the Joppa Outreach program. To lend a hand, the seventh graders helped organize the warehouse while the eighth graders visited people in aftercare. |
